Our products, present in a wide variety of fields, that contribute to improve the quality of life of millions of people.Job DescriptionHelp in the development of features and functions using systems engineering principles.Requirements Engineering on vehicle and systems level (interface with stakeholders, make connections between different domains, collaborate with component and feature owners).Collaborate with the design teams to define, develop, implement and validate effective vehicle system solutions.Use tools for modeling complex systems while maintaining good documentation of functional and technical requirements.Resolve technical issues and help in addressing technical challenges.Responsible for maintaining good communication via frequent discussions with the internal team, the customer and the suppliers to define and agree upon principal features at the onset of development, through to production.An open mind set for new challenges and continual learning.Previous experience with systems engineering (vehicle systems preferred) or other experience with tools/processes/methods such as:Change configuration management processesTraceability & linking processesGood understanding of product development life cycleCapacity/experience teaching others.Leading and collaborating vehicle development activities with customers suppliers as well as Bosch, internal divisions and functional groups.Technical expert is a vehicle and system level (interface to stakeholder, bridge across all domains, in collaboration with component- and feature-owners).Perform analysis and synthesis of vehicle features to derive requirements on vehicle and system level.Collaboration with vehicle simulation team to explore solution space and perform trade-off studies.Coordinate the implementation of the vehicle concept with consideration for all internal, external and legal requirements.Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams.Present results and report progress to internal and external customers, stakeholders and auditors.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering2+ years System Engineer:Tools: DOORS, DNG, Jira, Rhapsody.Practical application of engineering methods.Vehicle motion systems (electric powertrain, brake system or driver assistance) and respective actuators.Product or vehicle systems development including application of model based systems engineering and vehicle systems testing.E/E architecture, communication systems (CAN, LIN, CANalyzer).2 year of leadership experience (technical, project management).Preferred:2+ or more years automotive experience.1+ years of experience in safety monitoring, functional safety and relevant standards.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, results oriented (drives issue resolution).Proven record as team player in international teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with professional and positive attitude.Additional InformationBosch is constantly expanding its international presence, since for us cultural diversity represents one of our greatest strengths.
