TRANSITION.As part of the Operations Solutions team the objective is to bring value to the company by improving process&optimization, leveraging data, and deploy/adopt digital tools. Responsible for develop, apply, use and provide training to news users of digital tools/soluitons according to the operational needs, development of PoC’s, follow up with Region and Global team on digital tools, and to help to support and run workflows for the deployed digital tools increasing adoption and unlocking value to the company. For the operational aspect of the position, the Process Engineer – Digital works with the units, Facilities Engineers and Process Engineers when required to perform Process improvements, investigations, process modifications analysis, and so on. Main responsibilities include:Responsabilities: Identify, analyze, and compile relevant technical documentation and process data to the development of the digital solutions, Prepare mockup of process system and coordinate with process designer, Perform self-check of all deliverables prior to submission for review /approval, Contribute to PI vision displays check & review activities and ensure data population is complete and correct. Participate in comments implementation and coordination with Process Designer and Data Architect, Support Data Architect queries regarding process data, Support Digital Solution Lead with process queries, Participate in User Acceptance Tests, Assess and implement feedback from end-users, Work in compliance with industry standards, work procedures and applicable specifications, Proactively interface with stakeholders for resolving issues, sharing information and progress, Collaborate and report progress to the digital solutions lead and ensure deliverables are produced as per schedule. Produce consistent and organized feedbacks/documents/reports. Requirements: Degree in process or chemical engineering Minimum 5 years of relevant experience acting as a process engineer Work experience in digital projects is a plus Knowledge of Unisim, HYSYS or similar process simulation tool.
