Engineering Manager App (m/f/d)

We are growing the existing platform and adding entirely new services to it. Our goal is to enable our customers to live their healthiest lives possible.We are looking for an Engineering Manager App (m/f/d) to lead our App Team in developing innovative mobile applications that enhance the healthcare experience for our customers.Our tech stack: iOS, Android, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, NodeIn this role you will:Act as a bridge between the App Team and other stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment with business goals. Represent the App area in technical topics, ensure that technical decisions include the needs of our App development and be the first point of technical contact for anything App related.Collaborate closely with the App Lead Product Owner to bring the area forward.Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of App Developers and QA Engineers in your teams.Lead and mentor teams of App Developers, fostering collaboration and innovation within the teams. Help team members to identify areas for growth and leverage synergies for common learning and enhancing technical, interdisciplinary, and soft skills.Lead the team in pragmatic decisions that ensure long-lasting success; co-develop and maintain coding guidelines and prevent over-engineered solutions. About you:You have experience in providing technical as well as team leadership. You are well versed in building modern, scalable, high-performing applications for iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin). You are a people person. Through active listening and regular one-on-ones with your team members, you understand their tech problems and mentor them. You have experience in establishing coding guidelines and a common level of solution quality in an engineering organization, to assure both good time-to-market and high quality.
