As part of its role, Growth Engineering takes over the entire technical concept development and engineering design in close cooperation with the responsible Business Lines and Partners. The purpose of this role is driving the technical development of decarbonization projects to reach financial close and providing technical support during the project execution phase. Then we will look forward to meeting you!Your ResponsibilitiesLeading the technical project development for low carbon investment projects during feasibility, Pre-FEED and FEED phases as well as performing technical project due diligences.Holistic review of process and transport/storage chains of Low Carbon Fuels as well as development and evaluation of project scenarios to support Uniper’s decarbonization strategy.Preparation of conceptual designs, engineering studies and tender specifications for plants producing green or blue hydrogen and its derivatives.Leading and coordination multi-discipline engineering teams.Managing of internal and external project stakeholders incl. project partners, contractors, technical experts.Acting as owners engineer representing Uniper’s interests through all engineering phases up to financial decision.Your profileEngineering degree level qualification (or equivalent), ideally in process engineering.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical project development, owners engineering and project management, ideally related to hydrogen, ammonia or low carbon fuel assets.Experience of working in an international business environment and in leading multi-discipline engineering teams and engineering contractors.Resilient team player with a high level of self-motivation and responsibility.Business fluent language skills in German and English with good communication and presentation skills.Willingness to travel internationally.Your BenefitsAt Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
