With more than 5,500 employees, BIRKENSTOCK is the German shoe industry’s largest employer and has sixteen locations in Germany, with privately-owned distribution companies in Europe, Asia and the USA.For our Global Sourcing and Purchasing department at our location in Cologne, we are looking for aSourcing Manager – Finished Goods (m/w/d) Your TasksYou are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sourcing and procurement functions within our Footwear Finished Goods division.You also ensure a robust and efficient supply chain for our various product categories in terms of growth and demand, as well as implement global procurement strategies while maintaining critical supplier relationships.While possessing a great understanding of the product and production, you actively collaborate with the product development, product engineering, quality management and global demand teams to reach a sustainable business growth.You negotiate prices to stay with budget guidelines according with financial controlling.
