Key ResponsibilitiesAssure proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are diligently followed, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment that exudes chic sophistication. Impeccably coordinate and oversee the preparation of each menu item, ensuring readiness and the flawless delivery of stunning, Insta-worthy plates. Maintain a Gold Standard of Excellence in the seasonings, portions, and presentation of our gastronomic delights, consistently delivering an extraordinary dining experience that leaves guests astounded. Uphold our renowned ‘FIVE-Star’ standard of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation, ensuring that FIVEs well-deserved reputation for exceptional culinary experiences is maintained. Work with the Executive Chef to meticulously check and order fresh, high-quality products and dry storage items essential for the kitchen, adhering to our chic and luxe style. Collaborate closely with our distinguished Chefs to ensure meticulous preparation, timely delivery, and an unwavering commitment to consistently enhancing the quality of our dishes. Continuously seek ways to assist our accomplished Sous Chefs in maximising revenues and profits, exploring new opportunities, and curating a premium menu that exceeds industry trends. Monitor and meticulously analyse the activities and menus of our competitive counterparts, including restaurants, bars, event venues, and other banqueting departments, staying informed and identifying opportunities for Boundary-Breaking enhancements. Demonstrate expert knowledge in storing unused food to minimise waste and optimise quality, ensuring each ingredient remains hand-crafted and exquisite. Assist in maintaining budgetary and payroll control, showcasing an understanding of financial management while delivering sensational culinary experiences. Exhibit a keen awareness of Menu Engineering and expertise in food cost calculation, contributing to our Sensational culinary creations. Meticulously manage staffing and resources, ensuring the availability of all supplies and ingredients required to meet the demanding needs of our luxurious dining destinations. Supervise and lead our highly-skilled FIVE Tribe, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure Exquisite food preparation and presentation. Foster seamless communication and collaboration between our esteemed kitchen production and service staff, creating a Sensational dining experience that delights our guests. Conduct weekly Food and Beverage Meetings (if needed) that exude a Vibrant and engaging ambiance, ensuring that all gatherings are meticulously planned, efficient, and yield result-oriented outcomes. Always exemplify impeccable personal appearance and hygiene, serving as a role model for our Culinary Team and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and luxury.
