In this position you will join electronics and mechanical instruments manufacturer located in Mississauga.
Job Summary:
A Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly, basic soldering, testing
and programming of electronic and mechanical products. Guidance and training will
be provided by the Senior Assembler.
Key Responsibilities
Electronic assembly and testing of:
� Simple cables and harnesses
� Potting boards
� Hand soldering through hole components and cables
� Simple PCB assembly, touch up and initial testing
� Integration of circuit boards into systems
Mechanical assembly and testing of:
� Parts such as handles, trays, encoders, carts, shield, etc.
� Final unit assemblies
� System integration
� Working in a shop atmosphere with hand and power tools
System testing and reporting of results
Firmware installation and testing
Packing and boxing of final product
Adhere to product assembly procedures and identify problems using ECR's
Adhere to ESD guidelines/procedures
Assist with inventory control
