Private Chef

Private Live-in OR out Chef - Bellevue, WA

A lovely family of 4 + 1 (2 parents & 2 children + 1 Nanny) is looking to hire a Private Chef on a live-in or out basis. The family is seeking someone happy to prepare fresh, healthy food with quality ingredients and who is able to work out delicious meal plans to suit the entire family.

Main Duties:

• Cooking lunch and dinner for the family and Nanny
• Creating the menu for 4-5 days per week (flexible)
• Fresh fruit platter for entire family to share 2x per week
• Following/Creating new recipes (family enjoys Asian, European, American foods and more)
• Dietary requirements' awareness - i.e. no spicy food for mom; no raw foods for toddler & baby; etc.

Main Requirements:

• Private Chef background preferred (although open to commercial Chefs also)
• 5+ years of experience
• Immaculate Standards of Presentation and Hygiene
• Ability to formulate menus in line with family's requirements (healthy diet/preferences)
• A true passion for cooking
• Positive, confident, and with a hands-on approach
• Maintaining the kitchen area
• Child-friendly & able to prepare food for kids, i.e. chunky purees for baby, small bite-size foods, etc (2 children: 9 month-old and 2 year-old)

Details:

• Working schedule: 4/5 days per week
• Offered Salary: $70,000.00+ per year
• Accommodation: Own private bedroom within home (sharing bathroom with Nanny)
