Sprinkler Service Technician - $55/hour + benefits, 401K & $5,000 sign on bonus
The Sprinkler Service Technician will work in the field servicing fire systems across the Portland and Lake Oswego areas. This position requires up to 50% travel. A company vehicle and equipment will be provided. - Current NICET Level II or Higher
- 5+ years relevant experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression Industry
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
- Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions
- Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications
- These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc., in order to diagnose and repair equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals
- Ability to obtain additional licenses required by the state
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time depending on schedule and client needs
