Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a dynamic and energetic GM/Chef Manager to join our team at one of our high profile accounts in West Warwick RI! The current food landscape consists of 1 Corporate Café with reduced services, and Catering Operations.

The ideal GM/Chef Manager will be the number 1 for the operation in addition to be the chef for the location. This position represent a 70/30 split with a 70% of the role focused on culinary. The GM/Chef Manager will responsible for financial reporting and the client relationship. Ability to multitask and deliver high end experience every day. Other duties include but not limited to:

  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Managing a team of 1 hourly employees (may go up to 6)
  • HR related duties
  • Marketing initiatives
  • Safety and Sanitation

A strong focus oncustomer service, culinary expertise, andattention to detailare key inour selection process.Computer skills and basic accounting skills are required. Able to make business decisions that allow the unit to meet goals. Have ability to forecast business and manage accordingly as we operate during the Covid Pandemic

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule.Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Position Summary:

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic ManagementExperience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
