Restaurant and Bar Manager (Italian Cuisine) - Luxury Hotel in London
Location: London
Salary: Negotiable
Luxury Hotel in Central London is looking for a strong Restaurant Manager from a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant background with exposure to Italian Cuisine setting. You need to have high volume experience with focus on quality as well as a real passion for developing your team and implementing new standards.
Responsibilities
- To implement and deliver high quality service
- Ensure all staff are trained to the required standard
- Maintain and control stock levels
- Ensure staffing levels are in accordance with the business requirement
- Be tactical and hands on operationally focusing on all aspects of running the restaurant including inspecting, implementing and evaluating standards, forecasting and people development
- Implement and Monitor financial Targets in the Area
- Set and Measure Departmental Objectives in the area
- Implement a Sales Strategy
- Attend and Present at Heads of Department Meeting
- Attend and Present at Monthly Trading Reviews
- Conduct Performance Appraisals and Disciplinary Hearings within the area
- Enhance sales initiatives through up selling and promotions
- Ensure all areas are compliant with relevant Health & Safety Legislation and Liquor Licensing Laws
The Restaurant Manager:
- Minimum 3 years at restaurant manager/ F&B manager experience
- Has a strong background in 4*/5* hotel or restaurant
- Passion for service and high standards
- Must have a real passion for training and developing the team
- Strong brand standards and customer service focus
- Flexibility and a service delivering superstar
