Job Description
Sous Chef- Luxury 5 star Hotel- London 40k OTE
Salary £35,000 plus 3-5k service charge
Location- Central London
45-50 hours per week
Our client requires an experienced and proven Sous Chef to assist the team in the running of the kitchen operation in this 5-Star luxury hotel
- Supporting the senior team with the daily running of the kitchen that includes a modern British restaurant, in room dining, banqueting, lounge bar and afternoon teas
- Overseeing, training and developing the brigade of 23 chefs
- Ensuring the food is served to an exceptionally high standard in all areas
- Hands on approach
Requirements
- At least one years' experience as a Sous Chef from a luxury hotels background
- Current Food Hygiene certificate
- Some banqueting experience
- Must be creative
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must have excellent communication and man-management skills
- Must have great attention to detail
- Able to remain calm and focused
- Strong self-starter and team player
- The drive and ambition to succeed
