For our international client in FRANKFURT we are currently looking for an experienced FINANCE MANAGER with experience in SAP and a NATIVE LEVEL IN GERMAN & FLUENT ENGLISH SKILLS!

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take full responsibility of Finance Function and ensure accurate and timely production of financial information in accordance with local GAAP and Group accounting policies. Also, to lead the change to processes and improvement in key areas of business financial accounting and controls across the business.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and in accordance with local GAAP and the Group financial policies to internal local management, to Group and external.
  • Maintain accurate and fully monthly reconciled general ledger with proper detailed and accurate accruals and prepayments.
  • Full compliance with local VAT and all taxes and governmental reporting.
  • Annual budget and year end statutory financial accounts
  • Manage finance team of 5 and set well-defined and measurable KPI’s, to be continuously monitored.
  • Maintain strict controls on all aspects of working capital.
  • Ensure local processes of order to cash collection are accurate, efficient and within local rules and group policy.
  • Integral part of local management team and ensure that the company is operating under strict controls and within authority matrix.

Project work and areas of change

  • Implementing change to:
  • Be an integral part of contract review process and evaluate the finance and commercial terms and work with local team and customer to seek improvements, with reporting to Corporate on all key finance and commercial terms.


  • Experience within a Global PLC environment with strict reporting deadlines and operating under well-defined financial and accounting Group practices.
  • Experience of installations, preferably within Telecommunications industry and ability to demonstrate areas of controls placed in such previous jobs.
  • Proven experience of all aspects of working capital management.
  • Experience of working in a team to review the financial and commercial impact of customer contracts with proven ability of improving on any onerous contract terms. Must be able to interpret and efficiently advise local management of the risks of contract and how to minimize such risks.
  • Active participation in local management and providing support to other management members.
  • Strong and proven experience in SAP processes and Microsoft tools.
  • Excellent level of English, verbal and written.
  • Structured and well organized.
  • Positive spirit and attitude with implementation skills.
