Head of Marketing

Location: London

Salary: £70,000-£80,000

National Leisure & Entertainment group with growing Hospitality offering.

As Head of Marketing, you will work closely with the CEO to develop our branding and tone of voice. You will also help to build partnerships with third parties with the aim of generating revenue from those associations.

Insight and analysis play an important part in the development, delivery and success of marketing strategies. You will be comfortable using data and working with our Head of Business Intelligence to assess opportunities and evaluate performance.

You will have experience of managing transactional and content rich websites to ensure that booking processes are optimised and help to increase spend per transaction online. You will also be responsible for membership which ranges from a free registration account through to a monthly paid subscription model.


  • Development of the brand, corporate identity and tone of voice.
  • Development of digital presence including website and mobile.
  • Development of subscription scheme.
  • Oversee and be responsible for all social media activity, the website, photography, videography, email communications and any physical print.
  • Creation of content to drive engagement and awareness with customers.
  • Help to increase customer value both in terms of the spend per visit, the frequency of visit and the cross selling of products.
  • Curate the skills and experiences within the marketing team to ensure that we have a strong in-house capability to support an entrepreneurial, creative and ambitious business.
  • Work with the Deputy Chairman to help create materials to support our property acquisition plan.
  • Work with the People Director to develop our Employer Brand ensuring all our team members are brand advocates.
  • Lead all Market Research, customer satisfaction monitoring and sentiment tracking.
  • Manage the CRM provider and working with our Head of Business Intelligence to optimise customer segmentation and approve response rates.
  • Oversee sales of gift cards, boxes and packages / product bundles.
  • Ambitious, talented, analytical and innovative marketing professional who can help lead the business over the next phase of its evolution.


  • Able to demonstrate a detailed understanding and analytical approach to audience segmentation.
  • Highly experienced in a digital environment (Design, UX/UI, Content creation) combined with a strong artist/visual/design skill set.
  • Experience working in a business which is content focused, and which is used to building and engaging audiences in an analytical way.
  • You will be excited by the leisure business and have a passion for cinema.
  • Experience of working in a business which utilises subscription and is focused on customer loyalty, purchase frequency, cross selling of leisure / entertainment projects and driving customer value is important.
  • Experience of brand and proposition development.
