Pastry Senior Sous Chef - Prestigious Site - London 55k

Salary up to £55,000 for the right candidate

Central London

As Pastry Senior Sous Chef you will assist the Head Pastry Chef in the daily operation of the pastry department and within a team of around 10 pastry chefs

You will have extensive knowledge for creating high quality desserts from Michelin restaurants and 5* Hotels with the ability to showcase your creativity and a desire to continue learning and develop your craft

You will be expected to ensure consistent presentation and the highest standards are achieved at all times.

The dining options are extensive and focus on the finest quality ingredients, seasonality and creativity.

The candidate:

  • Currently be a Pastry Senior Sous Chef or experienced Pastry Sous Chef looking for their next promotion
  • Have experience working in a pastry section within a high quality, destination restaurant or leading 5 star hotels, Michelin and high volume experience is required
  • Classical and modern French techniques is essential
  • Progressive work stability
  • Have a passion for pastry and delivering high quality desserts
  • Be able to effectively manage, motivate, develop and lead a team of 10 pastry chefs
  • Be a clear communicator and an excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
