Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed medical histories and nephrological assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies relevant to kidney health
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for conditions like chronic kidney disease, kidney stones, and hypertension
- Implement individualized treatment strategies, including medication management and referrals for dialysis or transplant, when necessary
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations
