Executive Chef Duties:
- Ensure guests receive the highest level of food quality and service.
- Ensures high quality, palatable and well-presented foods are served
- Manage, lead, develop, and train a team
- Develop and prepare menus, including sourcing the right ingredients
- Maintain brand standards and ensure the team is delivering the ultimate guest experience
- Oversee product purchasing and manage budgets
- Inspire and develop the chef teams in all areas to ensure ongoing development
The ideal Executive Chef will possess the following qualities:
- 3+ years’ experience within hotel F&B operations as an Executive Chef
- Knows the New York market well
- French cuisine experience is a must
- Union property experience
- Experience with high-end restaurant/hotel brands
- Strong team leader
- Strong financial acumen
- Proven record of building strong relationships with team members, patrons and managers
