Senior Technician (X-ray machines and metal detectors)

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable and safe equipment operation.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and diagrams to support installation and maintenance activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports, documentation, and equipment records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to performance, safety, and efficiency.
• Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools and equipment in line with safety standards.
• Adhere to all QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) policies and procedures.
• Report potential hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Perform additional duties assigned by immediate supervisors.

Skills

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with X-ray machines and metal detectors is mandatory.
• Proficiency in hardware installation, configuration, and basic networking.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and physical security practices for IT equipment.
• Ability to maintain technical documentation and equipment inventories.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear support to users or clients.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar or related industry.
