Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and fabrication, with experience working on custom builds for events. This role involves understanding blueprints, working with a variety of materials, shop organization, and using hand tools. You’ll also assist the install crew by demonstrating how to assemble the builds during install days and occasionally help with on-site installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from plans, blueprints, and drawings to execute builds accurately.
• Cut, assemble, and finish wood and other materials for custom installations.
• Prep, sand, paint, and apply finishes to various projects.
• Break down materials for fabrication and prepare components for builds.
• Show the install crew how to properly assemble and set up builds during install days.
• Occasionally assist with on-site installations to ensure smooth setup.
• Assist with shop organization, ensuring tools, materials, and workspace remain tidy.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a woodworker, carpenter, or fabricator.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.77 - $27.42 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
