Job Description
- Develop and create innovative pastry and dessert menus that align with the company culinary concept.
- Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries,.

- Train and mentor pastry staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, techniques, and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive menus and maintain consistency in quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the pastry department.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into pastry offerings
Skills
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Executive Pastry Chef in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment or bakery.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, including cake decorating, chocolate work, and sugar art.
- Creative flair and ability to develop new recipes and innovative dessert presentations.
- Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in menu planning and execution.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of food cost control, menu pricing, and budget management.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training in pastry arts is preferred.
