Dental Technician (CadCam) specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Technician (CadCam) specialist to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Dental Technician (CadCam) specialist, you will be responsible for creating and manufacturing dental prosthetics and appliances using computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CadCam) technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and fabricate dental prosthetics and appliances such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using CadCam technology.
2. Read and interpret dental prescriptions and specifications to determine the design and materials required for each case.
3. Operate CadCam software and hardware systems to digitally design dental prosthetics.
4. Operate milling machines and other CadCam equipment to fabricate dental prosthetics from various materials.
5. Inspect finished dental prosthetics for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
6. Maintain accurate records of all cases, including digital designs, materials used, and production details.
7. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure accurate and aesthetically pleasing results.
8. Stay up to date with advancements in CadCam technology and incorporate new techniques and materials into practice.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Technician specializing in CadCam technology.
2. Proficient in operating CadCam software and hardware systems.
3. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and manufacturing processes.
4. Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality dental prosthetics.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with dentists and other dental professionals.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
7. Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address any issues during the design and fabrication process.
8. Knowledge of dental laboratory safety protocols and infection control procedures.
