Process Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of process engineering, with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing various processes within our organization. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and project management abilities. Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
2. Analyze data and conduct experiments to identify areas for improvement
3. Develop and implement process control systems to monitor and optimize performance
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives
5. Lead and participate in process hazard analyses and risk assessments
6. Perform process simulations and modeling to optimize plant performance
7. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for process-related issues
9. Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry
3. Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques and tools
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Project management experience is a plus
8. Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations
9. Proficiency in process simulation software
10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
