Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.This Role In SummarySourcing Analyst. Manages Projects Introductions and various projects from pre-sourcing to launch andthroughout project lifecycle to achieve Quality, Cost targets and maintain program timing according to WPDtollgates. Manages major cost reduction activities (TCP/TCQ) for current products. Leads and coordinatesactivities with internal process partners. Key Procurement reference person for New Products and majorChanges.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeManage launch, cost, and quality of multiple projects throughout product life cycles to achieve unitcost targets, quality targets, and maintain program timing for assigned commodities.Develop a detailed action plan for each supplier to meet project deliverables up to mass productionLead &;amp; coordinate internal deliverables to suppliers – demand planning, designs, quality, cost targets,phase In / Phase OutResolve launch readiness situations and prepare/ensure cost, schedule, and quality objectives areachievedTrack and evaluate supplier activities against their launch plan.Balance activities for multiple projects to ensure all priorities and key objectives are met.Monitor supplier quality deliverables, occasional travel to suppliers for face to face reviews andreadiness discussionsValidate, kick-off, and track supplier capital &;amp; tooling.Lead &;amp; coordinate day-to-day activities during the new model transition process for the supplier andcross-functional internal team – Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.Monitor and track key performance indicators for assigned commodities.Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool CorporationSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
