Cluster Hotel General Manager – Branded Hotel

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits

The Cluster Hotel General Manager will be responsible for all day to day operations, business performance, and lead the management team to continuously improve quality, efficiency and profitability of two branded hotels. Working within the group matrix structure, the role will also work collaboratively with the functional support areas of reservations, procurement & development and sales & account management.

The Cluster Hotel General Manager will ensure that the business is adequately resourced, that company standards and reporting are met, and all legal and regulatory matters are complied with.

Key responsibilities:

• Proven management experience in a hotel or serviced apartment business environment
• Hospitality background with good knowledge and experience of revenue generation, yield-management and guest experience
• Develop and nurture a positive working environment promoting great service, culture and vision of the company, learning and development for the team
• Support the Senior manager in the creation of rota, implementation of training plans, performance review, etc
• Review and implementation of efficient procedures to ensure highest customer service and satisfaction at all times
• Ensure administrative tasks and procedures are followed: update and filling of report and data, cash-handling, banking and credit card controls.
